Annamarie du Toit spent most of her childhood in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga. She matriculated from General Hertzog High School. She grew up in a Christian home as one of eight children. From an early age, especially at home with family devotions, the Word of God was enshrined in her heart. After school, she received two years of training at the Dorothea Mission Bible School. She is married to Koos, and they have three sons. Six grandchildren complete her beautiful family. She was involved in child evangelism for many years. She penned four books for pre-schoolers, as well as a number of biblical crossword puzzle books. Some of her poems have been included in the publications of INK. She and Koos currently live with their children in Kleinfontein.
